I truly didn't like this place while I lived in Laredo, but once I left, I now see it as "the one that got away." As I travel the country looking for good Mexican food, I find myself lacking and empty...a soulless shell of a man walking down the lonely road of culinary fulfillment thinking to myself..."I used to have it all." Everything I wanted in a Mexican restaurant was there...at Taco Palenque. However, I took it for granted. From the papa con fajita to the chicken flautas to the homemade chicken soups to the bottomless chips and salsa, this place had it all...and I walked out of heaven...LOL!
Seriously though, if you can get past the Spanglish speaking drive thru attendant and the occasional erroneous orders, which incidentally is how I found out about papa con fajitas, then you will love this place. -

So disappointed. Service, lack of empathy, cost vs value. Food is tastes great as always but your people and your prices are unreasonable. Congrats on the high profit margins.

This place reminds me of a Taco Cabana but with way better food. This place is open 24 hours so you can't beat that with a stick. Good place for some good late night food if you've been out drinking.

Always serves fresh food i dont know mich about mexican food but i have seen lots mexicans latinos love this place. Good customer service. The best part about this place is it open 24*7.

This place is great!
It's basically a drive thru to get some good steak or chicken fajitas. They have other stuff on the menu but why would you even consider straying from steak fajitas if it's an option!
